About The Artist

Hi, I am Tanya Jacobsz.

I am a multi-media artist, graphic designer and fine artist. This site contains my works of art for sale displaying various art mediums and my original art technique. I also do personal portraits on order.

I paint with oil, watercolor and acrylic, draw with graphite, pastels and experiment by combining different media and art techniques in one artwork.

The world around me is a big inspiration. There are a lot of hidden beauties and awesomeness out there. If you look at the world with a curious eye, inspiration is limitless.

I am very interested in picturing people from different points of view, in different circumstances, in emotional, creative, desperate and joyful state, highlighting the unseen in their personalities.

In 2011 I was invited to take part in an International Cultural project ”GREAT ROMANIAN PERSONALITIES 2011″. I have submitted 3 portraits of great Romanian personalities. One of my works, a portrait of Ion Luca Caragiale, received a mention in awards for the best portrait artist and caricaturist, participants in 2011.

I am a member of Deviantart as well. One of my watercolor artworks “Mary Lips Like Cherries” and digital work “Last dream of Ofelia” received a DD Award.
